The Camp Daggett Lodge
Camp Daggett has evolved from tent camping with outhouses and no electricity or refrigeration to a beautiful 13,000 square foot lakefront cedar lodge built by Town & Country Log Homes and 12 camper cabins accompanied by 2 shower and restroom facilities.
Camp Daggett offers eight one-week coed camping sessions starting in mid-June and ending in mid-August. Campers range in age from 7 through 14 years. They are housed in rustic cabins designed for 10 campers and two staff members. The program answers a child's search for adventure in an environment that is upbeat and wholesome.
Camp Daggett Outdoor Adventure Participants can challenge themselves on a three-sided, 40-foot climbing tower with six attached high ropes-course elements designed and built by Project Adventure in a beautiful wooded setting at Camp Daggett. A group problem solving initiative course, tucked in the woods near the nature pond, contains more than ten different elements and provides opportunities for leadership, cooperation and accomplishment.
Camp Daggett has provided meaningful and memorable recreational experiences for the young and young at heart for over 85 years. Embracing its values of respect, teamwork, caring and fun, Camp Daggett offers year-round programs from summer camp for youth to Adventure Programs for young people and adults. The Camp Daggett facilities are available to the public for events and activities as well.
Camp Daggett maintains more than 1,400 feet of lake frontage on beautiful Walloon Lake and 111 acres of forests, wetlands and meadows. If you’re looking to get away and enjoy the great outdoors, or need a place to reflect and relax, Camp Daggett is the “home” you’ve been looking for.
